about

All of these songs were conceived in 2018 when I was devoting more time to being a selfish drunk asshole. Fast-forward to 2022, I’m about a couple months sober from alcohol, and I decided I would start to revisit and re-record the tunes that you are about to hear on this release if you aren’t listening already.

When I hear these recordings, I feel like I’m listening to someone I no longer relate to. For me, it’s difficult to pick up where I left off on something that was conceived in a less than ideal headspace. I feel like the only way I could relate to it again is if I went back to drinking.

So I am receding from these tunes.
I’m not disowning them, but I don’t have any desire to develop these songs any further. Outside of my own paradigm shift, other misfortunes such as fried video cards and data files lost/locked-out-of have contributed to wanting to heed the tell-tale signs and lay it to rest. If I’m gonna start from scratch, I would rather do it with newer stuff.

Lately, the newest stuff I’ve helped write has been with another band I perform in, iykyk.

This is not the end, but let it be known that Earth Snake will not be coming back again until it is ready.

Thanks for being here.
